Floorplan Host Virtual Tour Help

General Information

Welcome to the help file for Floorplan Host's virtual tour. This brief explanation will help you use the tour effectively. At the top left hand corner of the virtual tour you will find the address information and the agent that is listing the property. Directly underneath that, you will find the links navigation section that will guide you through a host of options to find more information.

The main section houses the slideshow and interactive floor plan tour display. You have the ability to browse the slideshow using the controls beneath it. By clicking the button in the top right corner of the slideshow, you can increase the size of the images in a breathtaking view of what could potentially be your new home.

To the right of the slideshow, you will find the interactive floor plan of the property. As you navigate your mouse around the floor plan, you can click on the icons or the words and they will pull up the photo or interactive media for that area. Just below the interactive floor plan map you may see multiple floors listed. Toggle between the different floors/areas of the property by clicking the name of the floor/area you wish to view.

Beneath the main slideshow display, you will find the section for property info, the area for the property description, and a hybrid Google map view that will allow you to see a satellite image of the property and its surrounding neighborhood.

Why don't the Panoramic Images work?

Floorplan Host Virtual Tours require Sun's Java Runtime Environment and JavaScript to function properly.
If you have a problem viewing the tour panoramics or images follow these steps to ensure you have the correct
browser environment and settings.

In Internet Explorer:
1. Under the "Tools" menu choose "Internet Options..."
2. Select the "Advanced" tab and scroll down to find the "Java (Sun)" heading.
3. If you do not see this heading you will need to download and install Java. Follow the instructions below.
4. Make sure the box next to "Use Java (version #)" has a check mark in it.
5. If you had to check the box, restart your computer.

In Mozilla Firefox:
1. Under the "Tools" menu choose "Options..."
2. Select "Web Features" and check to make sure both "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript" have check marks next to them.
3. If you do not see an option for enabling Java you will need to download and install the Java software. Follow the
instructions below.

In Opera:
1. Under the "File" menu choose "Preferences..."
2. Select "Multimedia" and check to make sure both "Enable JavaScript" and "Enable Java" have check marks next to them.
3. If you do not see an option for enabling Java you will need to download and install the Java software. Follow the
instructions below.
In Netscape:
1. Under the "Edit" menu choose "Preferences..."
2. Select "Advanced" then "Scripts & Plug-ins".
3. Under the heading "Enable JavaScript for" make sure that "Netscape" has a check mark next to it.

If you follow the above instructions and still have difficulties you may need to update your browser and/or Java.
For Java, follow the instructions below.
To update your browser, visit the provider's site and follow upgrade/download instructions.

Download Java
1. In yuor browser go to http://java.sun.com/getjava
2. Follow the instructions for downloading and installing the Java software.
3. After installing Java, follow the above steps to make sure it is active then reload the tour page.
